GETidConnect your Data Services login and ask in plain English. Claude pulls prices, the Treasury curve and TRACE and MSRB prints, and runs the bond calculator.
In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with this URL.

Works in Claude on the web, desktop and mobile. In Claude Code, add it with one command:
claude mcp add --transport http openyield-data https://datamcp.openyld.com/mcpRead-only: it cannot place, change or cancel orders. You see only the data your license covers. Team and Enterprise owners add it once for everyone. Setup is in the connector docs.

Build and sell analytics on OpenYield data. The data itself is not passed on.
Show OpenYield data to your clients on your platform, view‑only. No export or resale.
Your platform connects. Each client uses its own OpenYield license and login.
Rights, scope and pricing are set in a signed agreement with OpenYield. Storage and AI model training are not included unless the agreement says so. Third-party content, such as credit ratings and regulatory trade data, may need its own license. Without a FINRA real-time license, TRACE prints are delayed four hours. Live order book data over FIX is only for ATS subscribers who trade on OpenYield.
Consistent schemas and a full OpenAPI spec, so a developer or an AI agent can build a working integration quickly.
Numbers arrive as strings at fixed precision, so nothing drifts in a float. Quoted and calculated prices carry five places, yields six.
"price": "99.00000", "yield_to_worst": "5.419537"
A side with no order, or a yield that was not reported, comes back as null and never as a misleading zero.
"bid_price": null, "ask_price": "97.82500"
Every price and trade carries its time with a UTC offset, so there is no guessing about time zones.
"as_at": "2025-09-03T13:00:47-04:00"
Every endpoint, parameter and response is documented for people and machines, with the OpenAPI spec ready to download. Signed-in users can also try the data at data.openyld.com.

Yes. A redistribution license lets you show OpenYield data to your clients on your platform, view-only, with no export, download or resale. If you sell your own analytics built on our data, that is a derived data license. If your clients hold their own OpenYield licenses, they can connect through your platform with their own logins.
